Well, hello!

I’ve decided to start writing a blog! I’ll be writing and posting about all things real estate, living in the Asheville area, and creating beautiful spaces at home. I hope to share useful information and connect with you on things that are great about living here and ways that we can make our spaces both reflect our personalities and work for our lives.

I’m starting with some first time home buyer basics, a real estate terms cheat sheet, how to decide if a fixer upper is a good choice for you, a snapshot guide for relocating to Asheville and a handy relocation checklist to make packing and moving a wee bit less stressful. There will be a lot more buying a home and selling a property basics yet to come with a focus on most commonly asked questions.

I love design and creating beautiful spaces, so there will also be some posts on selecting colors, arranging spaces, organizational tasks, DIY projects, design ideas, tips and inspiration. I’ll also hit on some renovation ideas and advice, both from my own experience and from a myriad of other resources. From wallpaper and house plants to tearing down walls and reviving radiators, I’ll be sharing some fun stuff so please stay tuned and be sure to share topics you’d like to see covered.

Last but certainly not least, I’ll be sharing my favorite ways to explore this beautiful little spot of the world. Day trips, favorite restaurants, hikes, waterfalls, festivals and all things out and about around Asheville and beyond will make their way to the page.

I’ll be building content gradually so I hope you’ll follow along and let me know what you think. I’m open to suggestions, so please drop me a line if there’s something you’d like to know more about. I hope you find this find this new addition to be both helpful and fun. Thanks for reading!
